1. Returns – 14-Day Cancellation Period

For most products purchased online, customers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

Products must be returned with reasonable care taken of them and, where possible, in their original packaging.

We reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund if an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and functionality.

2. Handmade & Natural Wood Products

Our products are handcrafted using natural timber, including solid pine and reclaimed wood.

Due to the nature of these materials, slight variations in grain, knots, colour, texture and finish are normal and contribute to each product's individual character.

These natural characteristics are not generally considered manufacturing defects, provided the goods match their description and meet applicable quality standards.

3. Personalised & Bespoke Orders

Products made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

This may include furniture manufactured to unique measurements, personalised designs or individual specifications.

Standard products made after an order is placed are not automatically exempt.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected if a bespoke or personalised product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where possible, include:

• Your order number

• A description of the issue

• Clear photographs of the product and packaging

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have statutory rights when goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

These rights include a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days, with further remedies potentially available afterwards.

Where goods are faulty or incorrect, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law, including covering reasonable return costs where required.

5. Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, provided this was disclosed before purchase.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, particularly for larger furniture items.

For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods, Farfalle Furniture will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

For larger furniture items, please contact us before arranging a return so we can discuss suitable collection or delivery arrangements.

6. Refund Processing

Once a return has been received, or appropriate evidence of return has been provided, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

For valid cancellations, refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Where legally required, the refund will include the original standard delivery charge. Additional costs for premium or express delivery are not refundable unless required by law.

7. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, configuration or finish, please contact us.

Exchanges are subject to product availability and any applicable price differences.

Your statutory rights are unaffected.
