Farfalle Furniture was born from a passion for traditional craftsmanship and a belief that furniture should tell a story. With over 40 years of woodworking experience in our family, we are inspired every day by the beauty of natural wood and the character it carries.

Each piece we create is influenced by the textures, tones, and history found in reclaimed timber — wood that has already lived a life and is ready to be given new purpose. From rustic shelves to timeless dining pieces, we design with the goal of blending heritage and modern living.

We know choosing the perfect finish for your furniture is an important decision. That’s why at Farfalle Furniture we offer coaster-sized samples of our paints, waxes, and stains. Each sample is made from the same solid wood we use in our products, giving you a true insight into how the finish will look in your home.

The best part? These samples double up as practical coasters, so you’re never wasting money — you gain both guidance and a useful piece for your home.

To keep your furniture looking its best, we also provide simple care instructions with every order. From cleaning tips to maintaining your chosen finish, our guides ensure your piece stays beautiful for years to come.

And because we want your furniture to last a lifetime, we are currently working on creating our very own Farfalle Care Boxes — complete kits with the oils, waxes, and cloths you’ll need to refresh and protect your piece, all in one convenient package.

Our workshop in Chorley is dedicated to minimising waste — every cut of timber is thoughtfully used, and offcuts are repurposed into smaller products and samples rather than discarded. We avoid mass production and imports, choosing instead to handcraft each piece locally in Britain to ensure quality and reduce unnecessary shipping emissions.

We also take pride in using eco-conscious finishes, packaging, and recyclable materials wherever we can, so your order arrives safely with a lighter footprint on the planet.

Returns

Returns Policy

At Farfalle Furniture, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade products. Each piece is carefully created, inspected, and packaged before leaving our workshop.

Returns & Exchanges

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

  • Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.

  • We do not cover the cost of return shipping. Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of any unwanted items.

Damaged or Faulty Items

  • In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the issue.

  • Once approved, we will either provide a replacement or issue a full refund, including return shipping costs if applicable.

Custom & Bespoke Orders

  • Please note that custom and bespoke items are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged, as they are made to your specifications.

FAQ

Do your items come ready to hang?

Yes! Many of our products come with a French cleat system already installed, making them incredibly easy to hang and remove when needed. For other items, we use hidden fixings to keep the look clean and seamless.

What kind of wood do you use?

All of our furniture is crafted from reclaimed or solid whole wood sourced in Britain. We’re committed to sustainability and supporting UK timber suppliers.

Can I choose the finish?

Yes, we offer a wide range of wax finishes including Jacobean, Walnut, Dark Oak, Medium Brown, Light Oak, Black, Mahogany, and more. You can select your preferred finish when ordering.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Most items are dispatched within 2–3 working days. For made-to-order pieces, please allow 7–14 days depending on size and complexity. We’ll always keep you updated.

Which courier do you use?

We typically ship with Evri or another tracked UK courier depending on the item’s size and weight. Tracking info is provided as soon as your order is dispatched.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within the UK. However, if you're outside the UK and interested, feel free to message us and we’ll see what’s possible.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos. We’ll resolve the issue quickly either by replacing the item or offering a refund depending on the situation.

Do you accept returns?
